To Our Valued Guests & Community

Between significant early November snowfall and strong snowmaking efforts, hopes are high on the mountain and in the community that we’re in for a great winter at Bogus Basin. Oh, how nice it is to have some positive news.

Over the past several months, our team has spent countless hours figuring out how we will protect the safety of our guests and employees against COVID-19. We’ve made significant, investments, difficult decisions, and changes throughout our operation. The success of the season now hinges on our collective willingness to cooperate and support these efforts. With our season opening just around the corner, it’s show time.

Things will be different at Bogus Basin this year. You will experience some changes and inconveniences. Longtime routines and traditions will be disrupted. Lodge access will be limited.  When these moments occur, remember that our top priority is your safety. Saving the season will be our reward.

Working closely and continuously with the National Ski Areas Association, Central District Health, and other local and national resources, we have a detailed and comprehensive plan. I encourage you to visit our website COVID-19 FAQ page before every visit for updates. Here are some of the biggest changes to be prepared for:

• Face coverings will be required - without exception - in all areas of the operation, except when eating or drinking in designated areas, and/or skiing/riding on the slopes.

• Lodge access will be limited; no outside food & beverages, personal items may not be left in facilities.

• We have invested in large tents, providing additional seating and new food and beverage outlets. No outside food & beverages or personal item storage will be allowed.

• Midweek and Night Only season passes remain available for purchase. The quantity of full access season passes was limited to manage capacity; this product is no longer available for the 2020-21 winter season.

• Ticket sales will be limited to control capacity. Online purchase(s) will be available and HIGHLY recommended.

• Physical distancing will be required in lift lines, expect for parties who are traveling together.

• If you are skiing/riding alone, you may choose to load the chair with up to one other individual, or ride alone.

• Advance reservations will be available and recommended for on-mountain ski/snowboard rentals once the season has begun.

We look forward to seeing you on the mountain soon.
